TED talks, who hasn’t seen any? I watch them from time to time and in this blog I want to share three of my favourites related to inwards and outwards traveling. Let them inspire you!

1. Monika Bulaj – The hidden light of Afghanistan

The first TED talk is from Monika Bulaj. Her aim is to give a voice to the silent people and hidden lights of Afghanistan. She traveled for a long time and made this photograpy serie of this suffering country that is overshadowed by war.

2. John Francis – Walk the earth

So basically this man hasn’t spoken for 17 years. He took a vow of silence when he got so worried about the environment and decided not to use motorised transportion any longer. He became the planetwalker. The day he stopped talking, he started listening. A stunning story.

3. Pico Iyer – Where is home?

In this TED writer Ivo Pyer talk about his meditations on the meaning of home, the joy of traveling and the serenity of standing still. A very inspiring talk that will make you rethink your perspectives.

Which TED Talk ispires you, makes you cry, laugh or moves you in a way you can’t explain?
